The interview intended to give the audience an initial glimpse of the Dornier Seastar and its first water flight operations in the Watson Island seaplane landing area, which is open to public seaplane operations. Oscar S. Garcia stated “It is a pleasure to show the state of the art Dornier Seastar to the public in one of its elements, the water. The NBC video clip displays marketing video materials as well as actual take off and landing operations performed at the seaplane landing waterway. The airplane amphibian capabilities make it a star performer on land, air and water.
Oscar Garcia, a worldwide consultant and advisor to the seaplane industry advocates “Miami is the cradle of seaplane aviation worldwide and at IFG and IFO, we are proud to have this fantastic aircraft in the USA. IFO was instrumental in the set up of the Dornier Seaplane Company, a USA Corporation in charge, amongst others, of the sales and marketing of the Seastar."
